Founded in 1870 and incorporated in 1905, Gridley is a small town with nice green streets and great homes. The population is around 5,500, but you don't have to go far to get goods and services. Gridley hosts the Butte County Fair & Sportsman's Expo every year in August.

Gridley is an agricultural town with a wide array of crops, including rice, walnuts, peaches, prunes, kiwi, apples and almonds.
